Posted by Sachi | June 5, 2014, 1:15 pmHi Ate Sachi! Thanks so much for all the tips for surviving med school, they really helped me a lot especially the “Med Subjects Endorsement”. Somehow, they lessen my anxiety. ๐ I’ll be taking my NMAT exam this coming April and I feel very nervous and excited at the same time as I’m a non-science graduate. Entering med school is a leap of faith for me. Btw, I would like to ask you if you have classmates with non-science majors because the large chunk of my nervousness from entering med school stems from that fact. Thanks and I look forward to your reply.
I found your blog when I searched for NMAT tips, btw. God bless!
Posted by Tris | February 26, 2014, 1:28 pmHi Tris!
How was the NMAT? I hope you nailed it! ๐ I’m sorry for the really late reply, and I hope it’s not too late. ๐ฆ
I have classmates with nonscience majors, and although they have a harder time with the subjects because of having no background, they are doing pretty well. Don’t fret, I have heard of stories of people with undergraduate courses like creative writing, theology, and even music, who have entered medical school! As a personal opinion, I honestly think one’s performance in medschool isn’t based on his/her undergraduate course. As long as you have the willingness to learn and the perseverance, then medschool won’t be too much of a problem for you! Medschool is challenging for everyone, but is unbearingly difficult ONLY for those not willing to take that extra push in studying. ๐ I’m sure you’ll do fine. ๐ God bless you, too! ๐
Posted by Sachi | June 5, 2014, 2:21 pmHave faith. You are probably doing better than you realize.
Posted by b4thirty8 | April 21, 2014, 4:12 amHi Sachi,
I am putting up my own blog inspired by your own. I plan to share my personal experiences in studying medicine as well. I hope to hear more of your posts. ๐ God bless always.
